Hattie McCuen Obituary

Hattie Bess Taylor McCuen, 91, wife of the late Richard "Hoss" McCuen, passed away August 27, 2025. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Crate and Ethel Flynn Taylor, she was a retired employee of BI-LO and a member of Victor Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Misti McCuen Moore of Greer; a daughter-in-law, Chris Rayburn of Greer; a grandson, Chase Rayburn; and two nieces, Toni Shoaf and Vicki Pittman both of Greer. She was predeceased by three sons, Babe Rayburn, Robby Rayburn, and Jamie Rayburn and two sisters, Joan Tucker and Val Taylor. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Praise Cathedral Chapel in the Administration Building conducted by Pastor Bob McCuen. Visitation will be held after the service.
