Gregory Davis Obituary

Gregory "Greg" Ray Davis, 71, husband of Marguerite "Margie" Davis, died Thursday, September 25, 2025. Born in Lumberton, NC, he was the son of George Davis, Sr. and the late Carleen Hardin Davis. Greg brought light and laughter wherever he went. Known for his bright spirit and the way he made everyone feel seen and valued, he lit up every room with his presence. His laughter was contagious, his kindness unforgettable, and his love for the Lord was evident. Greg's warmth touched countless lives, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a member of Tremont Church of God. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Carly Bruno (Salvatore); sons, Nicholas Davis (Kelsey) and Steven Chadwiche "Chad" Davis (Candi); eight grandchildren; and his brother, George Davis, Jr. (Donna). A visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Tremont Church of God followed by burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories of Gregory with the family by clicking on the button labeled "Share A Memory".
