Genevenia Robinson Obituary

Genevenia "Jenna" Robinson, 74, of Greenville, SC, departed her earthly life on the evening of February 12, 2026 and surrendered to the call of the Master.

Genevenia was the eldest of eight children born to Raymond and Mary Ruth Robinson on May 24, 1951. She was educated in the public schools of Greenville County and graduated from Sterling High School in June 1969. She later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Johnson C. Smith University in May 1973. She was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Professionally, Genevenia served as a Human Resource Manager for several major companies across the United States. She was known for her strength, leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence throughout her career.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Robinson Johnson, and two nieces, Jessica Moates and Melissa Bryant.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories and continue her family legacy three sisters: Daisy Loretta (Anthony) Hill of Simpsonville, SC; Connie Robinson of Greenville, SC; and Kimberly East of Greenville, SC. Three brothers: Evans (Esther) Robinson and Michael (Vickie) Robinson, both of Greenville, SC; and Kenneth (Vanessa) Robinson of Simpsonville, SC.

In addition to her siblings, Genevenia lovingly leaves behind six nieces: Wenona Joyce; Nicole Robinson; Qwendena Robinson; Kaia East (Goddaughter) of Greenville, SC; Davelyn Hill of Greer, SC; and Ashley (Brian) Marshall of Archdale, NC. Eight nephews: Damion Robinson of Atlanta, GA; Kenneth McKinney and Brandon Robinson of Simpsonville, SC; Marcus (Ebony) Jones of Chapin, SC; Michael Robinson of Charlotte, NC; Evans Napoleon (Sadie) Robinson of Columbia, SC; Malcolm Robinson; and Joshua (Keshia) East of Greenville, SC.

Genevenia also leaves eight first cousins, twenty-one great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great-niece, two great-great-nephews, along with extended family and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Reedy Fork Baptist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Reedy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
