Gene Yauger Obituary

Eugene "Gene" Francis Yauger III, 77, husband of the late Mary Jane Vaughn Yauger, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025. Mr. Yauger was born in New Berlin, NY to the late Eugene Francis Yauger II and Jessie Lee Waldrop Yauger. Gene was a member of Dials Church. He retired from Cryovac. Gene loved playing golf, cutting grass, and visiting flea markets. He was a collector of model cars. Surviving are a sister, Linda Leopard; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Davis and Betty Parris. Family and friends may view between 11 am - 2 pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Graveside services will be 3 o'clock Sunday at Dials Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials in Gene's honor may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
