Gaynell Mayfield Obituary

Gaynell Jackson Mayfield, 87, passed away at her home, September 21, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are her son, Charlie (loving daughter-in-law, Jessica) of Greer; five grandchildren, Michael (Caddi) Mayfield of Moore, Ashley Migacz of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Sergeant Alexander Migacz (Emma) stationed at MCBH on Oahu, Hawaii, Josh (Jeannie) Satterfield of Mauldin, and Heath (Kaylin) Satterfield of Taylors; eight great-grandchildren, Lily and Ryder Mayfield, Carter Lilly, Koda and Mabel Migacz, Cora Satterfield, and Wes and Caroline Satterfield; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Mayfield was predeceased by her parents; loving daughter Cheryl; husband, Frank; one sister; and five brothers. Per Gaynell's wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 10 Patewood Drive Suite 375, Greenville, South Carolina 29615. Online condolences may be made to www.thewoodmortuary.com.
