Frances Leonhardt Obituary

Frances Amos Leonhardt, 86, wife of the late Darrel Gene Leonhardt, passed away June 11, 2025. A native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Anthony C. Amos, Sr. and Maude Eugenia Bowers Amos; she was a former secretary for the Greenville County School District, and a lifelong member of Victor Baptist Church. Her joy were her family, grandchildren, friends and loved playing the piano. Surviving are two daughters, Patti Morris of Greer, and Jennifer Kellett (Travis) of Simpsonville; six grandchildren, Amanda Chastain, Blake Fowler, Megan Shaver (Adam-deceased), Dallas Thomason (Will), Savanna Kimpton (Richard) and Dawson Kellett; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, A.C. Amos, Jr., Edgar Amos, Everett Amos, and Dewitt Amos, and two sisters, Mable Amos Hendrix and Lois Alene Amos Davis. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at Victor Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tom Capps and Rev. Sam Davis. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1:30 until 2:45 p.m., Monday, June 16 2025, at the church. Memorials may be made to Victor Baptist Church, 121 New Woodruff Road, Greer, SC 29651.
