Frances Holder Obituary

Sadie Frances Grubbs Holder, 89, passed away October 20, 2025. A native of Pelham, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Dennie and Minnie Hollingsworth Grubbs, she was a member of Pelham First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Davis McClellan Holder of Greer, South Carolina; a son, Davis Holder Jr. ( Deana); two daughters, Diane Smith (Anthony) and Pamela Holder Flynn (Richie); six grandchildren, Amanda Loftis (Shane), Jennifer Hammond, Angela Abercrombie (Austin),Stephanie Vaughn, Josh Holder, and Aly Flynn; and eight great grandchildren, Raegan Falvey (Cullen), Grayson Loftis, Belle Hammond, Kaylee Ellison, Kenzie Hammond, Glenn Woods, Annslea Abercrombie, and Aceson Abercrombie. Mrs. Holder was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Louise Grubbs, and a sister and brother-in-law, Lila Mae and Horace Neal. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Pelham First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Patrick Clark and Dr. Gary Rogers. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Pelham First Baptist Church.
