Forest Edwards Obituary

Forest Irene Edwards, 100, wife of the late Thomas Earl Edwards, passed away August 5, 2025. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William Wallace and Agnes Murphy Edwards, she was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Betty E. Fisher (Tommy) of Inman; a son, Tim Edwards of Greer; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Edwards and nine siblings. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Tony Edwards. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
