Emory Kuykendoll Obituary

Emory Alfred Kuykendoll, 73, of Greer, South Carolina, husband of the late Edith Gail Cox Kuykendoll, passed away August 27, 2025. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, son of the late Benjamin Harrison "Harry" and Eva Fae Martin Kuykendoll, he was a United States Coast Guard Veteran, a retired welder for Hartness International and a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Tonja Brown of Woodruff, South Carolina; one son, Kevin M. Kuykendoll of Greer, South Carolina; two sisters, Judy Head of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Sheila Phillips (John) of Woodruff, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Damon, Jaxx, Justin, Kayla, Victoria and Hayleigh; and six great-grandchildren, Brady, Eli, Paisley, Alyssa, Josie and Jaylin. He was predeceased by one daughter, Sonja Kuykendoll Green; one stepson, Donald Ray "Donnie" Stegall; one brother, Thomas David Kuykendoll; and one grandson, Tyler Kuykendoll. A private interment will be held at Graceland East Memorial Park. The family is at their respective homes. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
