Frank Martinek Obituary

Francis James "Frank" Martinek, age 76 of Henry, TN, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at West TN Healthcare Henry Co. Hospital. His body is to be cremated, and his ashes will be buried in the family section of Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, IL.
Frank was born August 30, 1949, in Chicago, IL, to the late James John and Maria Josephine Rehmann Martinek.
Frank was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris. He received his bachelor's degrees in both mathematics and philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. Frank formerly co-owned Fat Daddy's resort and, most recently, was employed by Walmart before retiring.
He is survived by his cousins, Sue (Tom) Gregan of Pittsburgh, PA, and Mary (Ron) Keyser of Luray, VA.
In addition to his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Emily Babitsky Martinek, and Ignatius Frank and Emilie Frantiska Novotny Rehmann; and his cousins: Jack Conway, Robert Conway, Ken Bonny, and Wayne Schwendeman.
