Donna Duncan Obituary

Donna Lee Welchel Duncan, 82, passed away September 15, 2025. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Charles "Charlie" Edward and Hazel Lee Hart Welchel, she was a retired employee of Greenville Water and a member of Harmony Fellowship where she was the organist for many years. Surviving are her husband, Walker Ernest Duncan, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Lisa Duncan of Greer and Lori Jackson of Taylors; a sister, Barbara Ann Vaughn (Bill) of Taylors; four grandchildren, Jake Campbell (Lindsey), Ben Campbell, Eden Jackson, and Treyton Dryman; and special caregiver, Kelly Long. Mrs. Duncan was predeceased by a brother, James "Jimmy" Dale Welchel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. September 18, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Terry Wilkerson with webcasting available. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. September 18, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, Florida 33126.
