Donna Brewer Obituary

Donna Davis Brewer, 75, wife of the late Larry N. Brewer, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Elizabeth Skelton Davis.

Donna was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church. A graduate of J.L. Mann High School, she worked for many years in the banking industry. She was most recently a pre-school assistant teacher at Southside Christian School. She loved spending time with her family and following The University of South Carolina athletics. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, and "Meme" to her grandchildren

She is survived by two children, Rodney Brewer and Lindsay Brewer Hegele and her husband, Markus; five grandchildren, Kingston Hegele, Ryker Hegele, Knox Hegele, Olivia Brewer, and Lucas Brewer; sisters Mary Gentry of Greenville and Betty Parnell and her husband, Lloyd, of Mauldin; and numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Lee Davis, Genny Collins, and Gail Sosebee.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Donna to Taylors First Baptist Church, 200 West Main Street, Taylors SC, 29687.
