Donald McGinley Obituary
A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles W. and Irene Schoen McGinley, he was a United States Air Force Veteran and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his children, Steven McGinley (Missy) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, David Michael McGinley (Ann) of Weaverville, North Carolina, and Deborah Fowler (Stephen) of Greer, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Stephen Troy McGinley (Allison), Tanya Lathrop, Jamie McGinley, Laurie McGinley, David McGinley, II, Kimberley Fowler Casada (Jeremy), and Gregg Fowler, Jr.; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; a sister, Lorraine Slage of Pennsylvania; niece, Carol Noyles; nephew, Dave Slage; and two fur babies, Rosie and Pookie.
Mr. McGinley was predeceased by a son, Charles Edwin McGinley; a grandchild, Tanya Maness; great-grandchild, Toby McGinley; sister, Doris McGinley Osborn; niece, Sandy Slage; and nephew, Joe Slage.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Pastor Nick Vance and Pastor Mike Miller.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Deborah Fowler.
