Diana Jean Hazy, 87, of Gaffney, South Carolina was born on August 14, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. She lived many years in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Daughter of late Robert H. Daily and Florence I. Daily. Preceded in death by brother Howard Daily. Survived by brother Roger Daily, sister-in-law Dorothy Daily, children Dan Hazy (Victoria and Daniel), Robert Hazy (Travis, Calvin and Brandon), Roxanna and Russ Kelso (John and Michael C.), Teresa Hazy (Tabatha, Marlene, and Jeffrey), Irene and Bud Walters (Maria, Nicholas, Raelynn, Kyle and Korey), Julie and Wayne Goings (Michael T., Cory, Cailley, Aubrey, Nick and Tiffany) and great grandchildren (Stacia, Joey, Levi, Blaze, Liam, Julian, Sabrina, Rebecca, Jonathan, Cayden, Bryson, Olivia, Noah, Dez and Brayden)
Diana, former owner of Green Gables restaurant with her husband John Hazy, was known for baking her famous homemade pies. She was also known for her extraordinary talent with cake decorating, painting ceramics, flower arrangements, making jewelry, and oil paintings. She leaves behind a very large family and will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be forever loved and dearly missed.
