Deborah Tipton Obituary

Deborah Laster Tipton, 61, passed away September 10, 2025. A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, daughter of Bill and Elaine Laster of Greer, South Carolina, she was a former employee of South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles and a member of Apalache Baptist Church. Also surviving are two sons, Justin S. Tipton (Whitney) of Lexington, South Carolina and Corey B. Tipton of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; two sisters, Laurie L. White and Kim L. Fowler (John) of Greer, South Carolina; and two grandchildren, Clara Grace Tipton and Amelia Mae Tipton. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Apalache Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Butch Howard and Rev. Brian Childers. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:45 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Apalache Baptist Church.
