Deborah Bright Obituary

Deborah A. Bright Deborah Ann Bright, 62, of 3830 Union Highway, Gaffney, widow of Fred Earl Bright passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her home. Born February 3, 1963, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Iris Hicks Gosnell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving is her daughter, Tasha Ann Anderson (George) of Gaffney; son, Steven Earl Bright (Barbie) of Pacolet; brother, Terry Roark of Cowpens; long-time friend, Debbie Aughtmen; grandchildren, Aidan Bright, Pehton Bright, Willow Bright, River Bright and Kaidyance Sprouse and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Bethesda Baptist Church, 799 Bethesda Road, Spartanburg. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Larry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens in Cowpens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church, 799 Bethesda Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Family members are at the home. Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, Woodruff
