David Grover Obituary

David Charles Groves, age 56, of Greenville, South Carolina departed this life on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and was the son of Charles Keys and Patricia Gaines and attended the public schools of Greenville County graduating from Greenville High School Class of 1980, shortly after graduation he started his employment journey at JP Stevens Parker Plant. He was a member of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship supporting the ministry and the mission. David loved helping the seniors and disabled and began his caring ministry at Able Care Transportation, making sure his patients arrived at their appointment on time. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Gaines of Greenville, South Carolina; one son, Tyler Polite and a bonus son, Michael Jefferson; three daughters, Chasity Grover, Shebratta (Darrius) Mazyck, and Vivashious Grover all of Greenville, South Carolina. Home Going Services will be at Word of Faith Christian Fellowship Church on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 3pm with Pastor Johnny Floyd officiating. Public viewing will be on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10-6pm at Beasley Funeral Home – Greenville. Interment will be private.
