David Coker Obituary

David Alan Coker, 47, of Greenville passed away at home on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Kathy Hill Coker and the late Wilton "Jerry" Gerald Coker. David was an outgoing personality who never met a stranger and had the remarkable ability to connect with everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression on all. He had a passion for cars, music and movies with an incredible ability to recall even the slightest details. His taste in music was diverse, ranging from rock to classical and country to oldies, especially enjoying the electrifying sounds of Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot. After completing his education with an associate's degree in Auto CAD from ITT Tech, David combined his artistic skills and technical knowledge in drafting. He also spent several years crafting meals in the food industry as a cook and chef. In addition to his mother, Kathy, David is survived by his sons, Jonah and Jeramiah Coker; brother Christopher Coker (Megan); nephew Evan Coker; niece, Emma Coker; and many other loving family members. He was reunited with his anchor, his father, Jerry in Heaven. No services are planned at this time.
