Dana DuPuis Obituary

Dana Ann DuPuis of Woodruff, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on September 3, 1962, in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Dan Austin (Pauline) of Odenton, Maryland, and the late Barbara Bellini. Dana is survived by her husband, Tim DuPuis, and her two sons, Sean Selig (Denise) and Collin DuPuis, both of South Carolina. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Brandon, Bryson, and Blake of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who brought her great joy. She is also remembered by her brother, Dan Austin (Beth), and his children, Tommy, Jenna, and Emma; her aunt, Audrey (Brad) Bradley, and their children, Jayson and Jessica; and her uncle, Al Bellini, with cousins Michael and Janelle Bellini. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Austin. Dana loved to travel and had a lifelong love of bowling, once achieving a perfect game. She cared for her garden with patience and pride, and her cooking, especially her fry bread, was a gift she shared often. She graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1981 and later studied at the University of Maryland. For more than 40 years she built a career in information technology, working in the retail energy, utility, and banking industries. Her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Simpsonville, South Carolina, guided every part of her life. In 2016 she fulfilled a long-held goal when she began serving as a full-time pioneer, finding peace and purpose in sharing the good news of God's kingdom with others. A memorial service to honor Dana's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Statesville, North Carolina. Dana Ann DuPuis will be remembered for her love of family, her strength of faith, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her memory will continue in the laughter of her grandchildren, in the meals shared around the table, and in the faith that shaped her life.
