Connie Brady Obituary

Connie L. Brady, 72, of Simpsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Born in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of the late Jack Vernon & Mary Ellen Adkins Gibson. Mrs. Brady was a long-time member of New Life Community Church Fountain Inn. She is survived by her sons, Christian McColley (Faye), and JT Brady (Jasmine); seven grandchildren, Brandon McColley (Laura), Ashley Toro (Cisco), Carrie McColley (Will White), Elizabeth Padgett (Barron), Ivy Raine, Avery McKenna, and Harper Jolynn; one great-granddaughter, Lily Padgett; one brother, Ken Gibson (Janice); her niece & nephews, Allison Fowler (Brandon), and Michael Gibson; and her lifelong, dear friends, Millie Kaat and Sandy Baden. Connie was a talented bowler and was a Hall of Fame member in both the Greenville and South Carolina state associations. She rolled the first ever perfect 300 game and 800 honor series by a female in South Carolina as well as rolling a perfect 300 game in her first Professional tournament. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 10, 2025 starting at 4:00 pm at Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn, 1150 N. Main St., Fountain Inn. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 pm with Pastor Brandon Gilreath officiating.
