Concetta Dzikowicz Obituary
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we share the passing of Concetta "Dee" Dzikowicz, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 88. Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stanley.
Born in Amsterdam, New York to Frank and Mary Parillo, Dee was the beloved sister of Geraldine and the late Paula. She spent more than fifty beautiful years with her husband and true love, Stanley, building a life filled with laughter, traditions, and unconditional love. Their home was always open, their table always full, and their hearts always generous.
Dee loved life with all her heart. She found joy in every holiday and milestone, and there was nothing she loved more than gathering her family together, raising a glass, and toasting to love, laughter, and togetherness. But Christmas was truly her season. Each year, she turned her home into a winter wonderland - every room told a story, every ornament held a memory, and every moment was made magical for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She had a special gift for finding beauty in the little things, whether it was the perfect decoration, a thoughtful gift, or a treasure she discovered while shopping. A passionate artist, Dee expressed her creativity through quilting and sewing, crafting pieces that carried her warmth and love in every stitch. Her handmade creations were cherished gifts, filled with meaning and care. Her love for holidays, and for life itself, shone through everything she did. She filled every space she entered with warmth, sparkle, and that unmistakable touch of magic that only she could bring.
In her later years, Dee found a second home at The Blake, a warm and welcoming community where she embraced new friendships and a new rhythm of life. She brought laughter to every table and made everyone she met feel truly seen and valued.
Dee's greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her children, Andrea and her companion Cliff; Pamela and her husband Evelino; Mark and his wife Sarah; and Jay and his wife Renee; her grandchildren, Aaron and his wife Sophie; Matthew and Mary-Kate; Nicholas and his wife Taylor; Dillon and his fiancée Amanda; Evy, Devin and his wife Ailise; Alexandra, Michael, Kayla and Trevor; and her six great-grandchildren who filled her days with pride and love, and her dear companion of eight years, Chuck Orr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Thursday October 23, 2025, Simpsonville, SC at 10:00 a.m. where family and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dee may be made to Dee's Welcome Wagon Foundation. This foundation benefits new residents at The Blake, continuing Dee's legacy of warmth and community. Donations can be mailed to the following address:
