Comilla Richards Obituary

Comilla Tucker Richards, 91, of Simpsonville, SC, wife of James T. Richards, passed away on August 10, 2025. Born in Fountain Inn, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Nathaniel Tucker and Rosa Lou Stephens Tucker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Rosa Little (Ronald); three grandchildren, April Baskin (Scott), Alisha Brooks (Joshua), and Nikki Brooks (Cody); nine great grandchildren, Lucas Baskin, Zachary Baskin, Maci Cross, Connor Brooks, Chloe Cross, Liliana Brooks, Kylie Brooks, Seth Brooks, and Curtis James "CJ" Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Childress (Albert); and four siblings, Joe Stephens Tucker, William "Billy" Tucker, Hugh Tucker, and Herbert Tucker. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn. Interment will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 3:00 pm.
