Greer, SC
Clemmie Ora Poole, 98, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Joe Richard and Lila Leona Strange Burnette and the wife of the late Charles Harry Poole, Sr. She was retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing. Clemmie was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Mason and husband, David of Greer and Paula Durham of Tryon, NC; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Harry Poole, Jr; a daughter, Sandra Bruce; a grandson, Paul Poole; ten brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:15PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service in the church.
Interment will be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church 572 Mt. Lebanon Church Road Greer SC 29651.

I enjoyed seeing Clemmie each Sunday at Bayberry Retirement Inn in Greer. She was such an encouragement to me and a godly woman. She always had a smile on her face.
