Cindy Dunbar Obituary

Cindy Gray Dunbar 61, of 21 Gilbert Court received her wings on Saturday, July 5, 2025 in The Medical University Of South Carolina Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Native of Cebu City in the Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Alfonso Dagami Sr. and the late Loretta Mabini Dacanay, and the wife of Jeffery Edward Dunbar of the home. Educated in the public schools of Cebu City, she was a former manager of The Philippine Connection Restaurant in Knoxville TN, a pre-school teacher at Solvaris School and a devoted member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Cindy loved cooking and her 5 cats. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Gray. Also Surviving are: a son, Yulam Gray of Newport, TN; brothers, Bartolome and Alfonso Diagami; sisters, Mely, Emerita, Imelda, Merly and Marife: 3 grandchildren all of Cebu City; Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025 in The Chapel Of The Gilmore Mortuary with Pastor Michael Durrah, of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
