Charlie Taylor Obituary

Charlie Taylor, 74, husband of Jane Anthony Taylor, died Friday, March 13, 2026.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Charlie and Dorothy Locke Taylor, Sr.

Charlie dedicated many years of his working life as an assembly line worker in the automotive industry, proudly contributing to Michelin Tire, where he forged lasting friendships and camaraderie. He embraced retirement with enthusiasm, indulging in his true passions. Always the adventurer, Charlie could often be found on the golf course, casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, or exploring the great outdoors, sharing laughter and stories with those he loved.

He is survived by son, Brian Bennett Taylor; daughter, Angela Louise Taylor; grandchildren, Todd, Savanna, and Mikayla Barrett.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald James Taylor and Gary Taylor.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery West.
