Charles Jones Obituary

Charles Clarke Jones, 81, passed away July 17, 2025. A native of Boca Raton, Florida, son of the late Charles and Earlene Gibson Jones, he was a United States Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Linda Hughes Jones of the home; three sons, Eric Jones of Florida, Charles Christopher Jones of Oregon, and Charles Jonathan Jones (Christy) of Alabama; a daughter, Clara Joyce Jones of Taylors, South Carolina; a step daughter, Donna Baker of Taylors, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Lance Eric Jones, Christian Luke Jones, Britton Alexander Jones, Taylor Brianna Jones, Tyler Taylorson, Tatum Poole, Carleigh Dee Thorpe, Malakai Donnell Thorpe, and Gracie Olivia Jones; four great-grandchildren, Remi Jones, Maggie Jones, London Jones, and Hadley Poole; two God children, Kesha Pulley and Crystal Shumpert; and special friend, Chris Valentine. Mr. Jones was predeceased by a grandson, Jason Kelby Allen. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Billy Cleveland.
