Carolyn Garrison Obituary

Carolyn B. Garrison, 95, of Greenville, widow of Frank Weston Garrison II, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 6, 2025 while at home surrounded by her family. Born in Simpsonville, Mrs. Garrison was a daughter of the late Dillard & Virginia Kirby Ballew. She was a long-time member of Simpsonville Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Frank Weston (Camelia) Garrison III, Caroline Kucherer, Lynn (Steve) Richardson, and Nina (Bobby) Hathaway; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Smith. Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Brown, and Ivy Abbott; and two brothers, Charles Ballew, and Kirby Ballew. The Funeral Service, officiated by Chuck Ballew, will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the mausoleum chapel in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Family Hospice of Greenville, 1312 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605.
