Bobby Martin Obituary

Mr. Bobby Joe Martin, transitioned on Sunday, October 14, 2025, at McCall Hospice House comforted by his loving family. Born June 4, 1945, in Greenville, South Carolina, a son of the late Edward Martin and Geneva Gary Martin, and the husband Patricia Faye Foster Martin. He was a resolute servant of New Hope Baptist Church, serving as an Usher, Trustee, Greeter, Senior Ministry, Co-Director of Education Department, All Male Choir, and Chairperson of the Deacons Ministry. He retired from Perry Correctional Institution after twenty-five (25) years of service with the officer rank of Lieutenant. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Faye Martin of the home; two daughters, Jacquetta L. Martin of Florence, South Carolina. and Kristie Martin of Bethesda, Maryland; two sons, two sons, Bobby Martin Johnson of Quantico, Virigina, and Robert (Paula) Johnson of Greenville, South Carolina; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Public Viewing will be on Friday from 10-6 pm at Beasley Funeral Home -Greenville Celebration of Life Services will be at 12N Saturday, October 18, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church with Bishop Allen Bruton Sr, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, South Carolina To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Bobby, please visit our Tree Store.
