Betty Staton Reeves Obituary

Betty J. Reeves, 93, widow of Herman E. Reeves, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born in Auraria, GA, she was the daughter of the late O.W. & Ila Staton. She was a long-time member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her children, Larry (Judy) Reeves, Ronnie (Linda) Reeves, Kathy Reeves, and Donna (Dan) Smith; son-in-law, Billy King; eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Nikki) Reeves, Haley (Ricky) Ellason, Diane (Mike) Trammell, Scott Reeves, Becky (Eddie) Miles, Robert (Jenny) Reeves, Kathy Cox, and Michael (Kate) King; sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen King; one great-grandson, Laken Miles; and one brother, Charles Staton. Service details will be announced once finalized.
