Betty Hughes Obituary
Taylors, SC
Betty Jane Lindsey Hughes, 80, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026. Born in Greer, she was the daughter of the late Louis Roosevelt and Stella Reece Lindsey and the wife of the late Jerry Watson. She was retired from O'Sella Nursing Home. Betty was a member of Woodruff Church of God.
Survivors include a sister, Brenda Powell; and a brother, Charles Lindsey. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sarah Wooten and Ann Gosnell; and three brothers, Edward Lindsey, David Lindsey and Boyce Lindsey.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Lopes officiating. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 1PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Wood Memorial Park.
