James Benjamin Grubbs, 38, passed away July 28, 2025. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, son of James "Jay" Claude Grubbs and Phyllis Ann Ladd Grubbs, he was a graduate from Wade Hampton High School class of 2005, an employee of Verizon, and of the Christian faith. Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Sarah L. Grubbs of Taylors, South Carolina. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, Maryland 21741. Online condolences may be made to www.thewoodmortuary.com.
