Beatriz Maciel Obituary

Beatriz Alicia Maciel, 77, beloved wife of the late Felipe Srour, passed away on Saturday June 14, 2025. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she was the daughter of the late Alejandro and Esther Canepa Maciel. Beatriz was a devoted wife, an exceptional mother and grandmother, and a proud homemaker. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, especially in the kitchen-her empanadas were legendary and will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. A passionate soccer fan, Beatriz proudly supported Boca Juniors and the Argentine national team. Her vibrant spirit, big heart, and warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. If you met her, you loved her. Beatriz was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughter, Karina Srour; grandson, Nikolas Srour; her fur baby, Junior; nephews, Claudio and Daniel Castagna; and Cousins, Graciela and Carmen Canepa. Over the years her family grew to include Mariana Ferola, the Brock family (Duane, Diana and Isabella), the Hewitt family (David, Margarita, Sara and Kamila); the Lozano family; the special group, Chulada de Tribu, and many more family and friends from Argentina and the United States. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jorge Maciel; and her sister, Susana Maciel. A private service will be held at a later date.
