Arlene Rizzo Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arlene J. Rizzo, who left us on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the age of 77. Arlene was born on June 23, 1948, in Shirley, NY, and later made her home in Simpsonville, SC. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Arlene spent her career in the banking/financial industry but was not just a wonderful professional; she was a loving wife to her husband, Vincent Rizzo, IV, and an incredible mother to her children, Jacquelyn Marshall, and Brett Marshall (Dana). She found immense joy in being a grandmother to Savannah and Isabella, often lighting up during their visits. Arlene had a passion for collecting antique furniture and pewter, which reflected her eye for beauty and history. She loved working in her yard and cherished time spent outdoors. Her three beloved dogs, Gypsy, Abby, and Soija, were a constant source of companionship for her, bringing warmth and joy to her days. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Helena and Salvatore "Sam" Campo, as well as two brothers, George Raymond Campo, and Joseph Campo. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 7 :00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 29th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Honoring Arlene's love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
