Arelee Williams Obituary

Arelee Coggins Williams, 101, of Marietta, SC, went to be with her Lord at her home on, Monday, July 21, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Beco Perry and Eula Trotter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, William C. Coggins and Thomas Williams; one grandson, Greg Anderson; and siblings, Marvin Bell, Adger Bell and Emily Scoggins. Arelee enjoyed a full life of retirement after working for many years at the J.P. Stevens Slater Plant. She was a member of Cox Chapel Baptist Church where she attended the Ladies Sunday School Class. She loved her entire church family. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Harbert (Bobby), Grace Anderson (George), and Kathy Cox (Landrum); along with a nephew raised in the home, Lewis Bell (Margie), five grandchildren, Randy Looper (Wendy), Patricia Andrews, Gail Stapleton (Lex), Ginger Chastain (Derek), and Jamison Cox (Leah); twelve great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashley, Logan, Anna, Adam, Joe, Lindsay, Taylor Anne, Elijah, Annika, Atticus, and Juniper; and four great-great grandchildren, Hannah, Maggie, Declan and Leo. Arelee's homegoing service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Cox Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service, which will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Jerry Clark. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
