Annette Altavilla Obituary

Annette Cosme Altavilla, 70, beloved wife of Tom Altavilla, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve Ferrara Cosme.

Annette had a beautiful love for life. She enjoyed singing, had a special fondness for flowers, and adored dogs. Known as a peacemaker, she brought calm and kindness wherever she went. Annette was pleasant to everyone she met and had a genuine, caring spirit that touched many lives. To know her was to love her, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her siblings, Suzanne, Eddie, Laura, and Eno; and her beloved "son-in-love," Omar.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10:00 am. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Southeast Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.
