Anne Ouimette Obituary

Anne Lee (Alianiello) Ouimette of Mauldin, South Carolina, died January 2, 2026, at home. She was the wife of Stephen E. Ouimette to whom she was married for 49 years.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. & Anne Lee (Clark) Alianiello.
Anne earned two degrees from the University of Rhode Island; a B.A. in education, graduating with Distinction and High Honors in 1975, and a M.S. in Speech Pathology in 1982. After serving as an Educator and Speech Language Therapist for 42 years, she retired from the Greenville, SC School System in 2018, having last served as the Speech Language Therapist at Robert E Cashion Elementary School.
She served as the producer of the 'Cashion Comet' daily news program and was a charter member of the 'Moms and Babes' and the 53' Club. She was an active supporter of theater at Christ Church Episcopal School, the Boy Choir of the Carolinas, and Downtown Soccer Association.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Justin S. Ouimette, and his wife, Alison Falb, of Silver Spring, Maryland; and two granddaughters, Ruth and Greta, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her brother, Paul A. Alianiello; and sisters, Frances Smith and Susan Bettencourt. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend.

With grateful hearts, Anne's family invites friends and loved ones to Thomas McAfee Funeral Home - Southeast on Saturday January 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for a time of remembrance, sharing memories, and celebrating her extraordinary life.
Inurnment will be held in Rhode Island.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
