Alvin Turner Obituary

Alvin Leroy Turner, 71, husband of the late Diane Walls Turner, passed away August 6, 2025. A native of Greer, son of the late Childs Leroy and Gladys Robinson Turner; he was a former employee of B & L Mechanical, and of the Baptist faith. Alvin was a devoted grandfather and a supportive father, known for his captivating storytelling and generous spirit. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back and took pride in building his own home with his own hands. Surviving are two sons, Alvin Christopher "Chris" Turner (Casey) of Greer, South Carolina and Bradley Wayne Turner (Page) of Elkin, North Carolina; one brother, Michael Turner; one sister, Kathy Solesbee; and seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Chloe, Cody, Aybree, Chance, Norah, and Stella.
