Allie Precillia McDonald, lovingly known as Presee, entered eternal rest on July 2, 2025, at the age of 66. She passed peacefully at AnMed Health Medical Center in
Anderson, South Carolina. She was born on December 24, 1958, to the late Ulysses Breazeale and Susie Ruth Grant.
From an early age, Allie had a heart for caring for others. Her passion led her to a life of service and compassion, both in her personal life and professional career. She accepted Christ at a young age and became a member of Springfield Church in Belton, South Carolina. She later joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church, also in Belton, where her faith continued to grow. Allie dedicated many years of her life to the medical field, serving with love and diligence at AnMed Medical Center, Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, and Ellenburg Nursing Home until her health declined. She was known for her strong work ethic and her gentle, nurturing spirit.
Her love for her family was unmatched. Holidays were especially meaningful to her-Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were not just meals, but cherished traditions she joyfully prepared for her family. She found joy in nourishing both body and soul. She leaves behind her loving children: Ronnie McDonald of the home, Christa McDonald of Taylors, South Carolina, and Shawn McDonald (Deirdre) of
Anderson, South Carolina. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Queenishia McDonald, Rondarius McDonald, Travarious Martin, Christaun "Champ" Scott, Malik Thompson, Eric "Bubba" Thompson, Ta'Shawn McDonald, and Alexis McDonald. She also leaves behind one great-grandchild, Noland McDonald.
Her memory is cherished by her beloved siblings: Gwendolyn Cullens (Charles), Clarence McDonald (Veronica), Aubrey McDonald, Anthony Grant, Antonio Grant, Anthony Breazeale (Vickie), Douglas Breazeale (Vivian), Fitzgerald Breazeale (Mary), Travis Breazeale (Annette), Shuntae Johnson (Anthony), Charmaine Williford, and Barry Breazeale (Angie). She also leaves behind two aunts: Charlene Latimi of Brooklyn, New York, and Wilhelmenia Spruill of Greensboro, North Carolina, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carlos Breazeale. Allie will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her presence brought comfort, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The service for Ms. Allie McDonald will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens,
Anderson, SC.
Public Viewing: Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the mortuary.
