Alfred Wright Obituary

Rev. Alfred Truman Wright, age 79, of South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1945, to the late Waymon Wright and Francis Locke Wright. Rev. Wright was a devoted husband, brother, and servant of God who spent his life faithfully ministering to others and uplifting his community through word and deed. He is survived by his loving wife, Issie Wright; one brother, William Wright (Genniev); and one sister, Mary W. Hawkins, along with other cherished relatives, friends, and members of the faith community whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Laurel Creek United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
