Alex Williams Obituary
Alex proudly started his career working for the Town of Pendleton, then on to work for Orian Rugs of Anderson SC. He continued his career doing custodial work at Riverside Middle School where he dedicated many years to supporting students and staff. In his free time Alex took pleasure in fishing and being on the water. That brought him an abundance of serenity.
Alex leaves behind a loving circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Alex is survived by his son, Alex Webb of Clemson; three daughters, Telisha Williams of Seneca, Brittany Williams of Pendleton, & Alexis Williams of Anderson. In addition Alex is survived by his eight sisters: Edith Williams of Central, Cheryl (Michael) Ndieli of Anderson, Angela Williams of Central, Kimberly Rickmon of Easley, Brenda Williams of Clemson, Lisa Williams of Seneca, Avery (Claude) Williams-Watt of New Haven, CT, & Jillian (Dennis) Wilks of Seneca; four brothers, Billy (Robin) Gibson of Central, Curtis (Sheila) Williams of Seneca, Scott (Janice) Williams of Seneca, & Brian Williams of Seneca.
Alex is also survived by his special friend, Edie Richey. Alex leaves his memory to cherish by his eleven grandchildren; four bonus children, Melissa Pittman of Pendleton, Jamie McDowell of Charlotte, NC, Valine McDowell of Pendleton, & Erica Hill of Pendleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and bonus grandchildren.
The family is at their perspective homes.
The memorial service for Mr. Williams will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.
