Wesley Newton Obituary

Wesley Galen Newton, 40, a beloved son and the loving husband of Alexandria Hatchell Newton, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 11, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Newton was born the son of Samuel Ronald "Ronnie" Newton, Sr. and Rhonda Morris Newton on June 20, 1981 in Georgetown. He was a 1999 graduate of Andrews High School. He attended Miller-Motte Technical College in Charleston and received his Bachelor's in Business Administration and Associate's in Computer Science from Limestone College in 2013. He was employed as a butcher and a CWP instructor. His smile and contagious laughter brighten the paths of all those whose lives he touched. His greatest honor and pride was being a devoted son, loving husband, cherished father, caring brother, and a loyal friend. He attended the Andrews Church of God.

Galen and Alexandria were married on May 28, 2011 and celebrated 10 years together. Their home was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Christyanah. He is also surived by: his parents, Ronnie and Rhonda; a brother, Samuel Ronald Newton, Jr. (Annie); a nephew, Christian Alexander Newton; and a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be 2PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Andrews Church of God, 310 N Morgan Ave., Andrews.

The Newton family will receive family and friends immediately after the service.

McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Newton family.
