Sam Wragg will definitely be missed! His place as a community leader has yet to be filled. He kept his church and community up to date on political issues that affected them. He also served his church, Cumberland AME, in various positions until his health began to fail. Our sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

My condolences to the entire Wragg family:. “Uncle Sam” as I called him was like family to me although he was my late brother David Wragg’s uncle he did not mind me calling him Uncle Sam. I enjoyed my conversations when we did get to see each other.
He will be missed by all.

I have such fond memories of Samuel. I last saw him at his 80th Birthday party. He always stood out to me as a larger than life figure in his community. He was so supportive, generous, and wise. He will be sorely missed by all. My deepest sympathies to his family: Let memories of the time you shared give you comfort for his life was rich because of you. The beauty of a memory is that it’s always there.
Like a penny in your pocket, you can take it anywhere.
So as you travel on in life, take comfort as you go,
There is a lifetime of “sweet memories”, of one who loved you so!

My father always spoke fondly of Mr. Wragg and I always enjoyed talking with him and hearing his reminiscences. I know he will be missed. May the love of friends and family be a comfort to you.
