Prestean Trappier Obituary

Prestean Trappier, 61, died on January 11, 2017, while a patient at Hospice of Charleston, Wando, SC. Funeral services were held on January 16, 2017 at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by Rev. Kelly Spann II, pastor.

Ms. Trappier was born on August 17, 1955 in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of Mrs. Laura Berry. A son, Bijan Maxwell Trappier, preceded his mother in death. In early youth, she attended St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Sampit, where the family worshiped. She was educated in the public schools of Georgetown County and attended Andrews High School. Throughout her adult life, she had an excellent work ethic. This was demonstrated by her many years of loyal service as a clothes presser for Curry's Cleaners of Georgetown. Ms. Trappier loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren, other family members and close friends. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her son, Joey Deward Trappier, Georgetown, SC; her mother, Laura Berry, Georgetown, SC; her sisters, Julia Armstrong and Sincera Collins, Georgetown, SC; her brothers, Darrell Berry, Eric Berry, Clyde Berry, Georgetown, SC, Stacy Berry, Columbia, SC, Ronson Trappier, Marrietta, GA, and Sam Trappier, Decatur, GA. Funeral services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
