Pressley Gasque, Jr. died on October 15, 2022 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Funeral services were held on October 21, 2022 at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Sampit.

He was born on January 20, 1972 to Mr. Pressley Gasque, Sr. and Mrs. Janie Louise Knowlin Gasque in Georgetown, SC. Pressley was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. He was a machine operator for Sampit Lumber Mill, Charleston Mill Services in Huger, SC, and was also a DJ known as "DJ Bubba Rock".

Surviving are his wife, Angel Grant Gasque, Georgetown, SC; two children of the home, Jaiden and Kaiden, Georgetown, SC; stepchildren, Dillon Grant (Makisha), Phillip Grant and Alissa Maybank, Georgetown, SC; step grandchildren, Zakari Washington and Kalahni Grant, Georgetown, SC; a devoted mother, Janie L. Gasque, Georgetown, SC; his brother and sisters, Leveson Gasque (Lisa), Concord, NC, Darlene G. McPherson (Paul), Huntsville, AL, Jacqueline Johnson (Timothy), Georgetown, SC; Clarissa G. Brown (Jeff) and Likisha G. Priest (Maurice); sisters-in-law, Belinda Deas (Clemon), Catina Grant, Erica Deas (Tyrone) Margo Lewis (Jamie) and special sister-in-law, Latrice Grant (Michael); numerous other relatives and friends.
