Patricia lived a life rich with creativity, accomplishment, and generosity. A talented high-tech executive for companies including Wang, she was one of the first women senior executives. A devoted philanthropist and champion of education, she supported causes that continue to make the world better and helped many young people pursue their dreams. Pat found joy in a shared cocktail, a day at the beach even riding the waves, planning adventures with friends, sewing, gardening, and golfing. Patti had a gift for transforming spaces into something magical-whether sewing pillows, reimagining someone's space or designing her gardens. At the Callawassie Club, she served on the board and as a project lead and "décor extraordinaire," refreshing and updating its look, especially at Christmas, when her team of "elves," under her careful eye, created holiday magic. Shaped by many special places, Pat treasured her worldwide travels and long stays in Montana with Harry. She loved her years in Connecticut and Maine, especially on Peaks Island, where she built lasting friendships and carried the charm of coastal Maine to her beloved Callawassie Island . She brought a taste of those summers southward, hosting July 4th lobster parties at the boathouse that blended traditions and provided her dearest South Carolina, Callawassie friends a taste of Maine. Her porch overlooking the marsh became a place where laughter flowed, stories were told, and memories were made. Patti lived generously, with a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and part of the fun. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
