Miya Dwana Bonds died on October 17, 2022 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown, SC. Funeral services were held on October 25, 2022 at Arnett A.M.E. Church. She was born on April 29, 1981 in Georgetown, SC, to the late Mr. William Earl Bonds and Mrs. Barbara Ann Keith Bonds. She graduated with Georgetown High School's Class of 2000. Miya was a member of Arnett A.M.E. Church and was employed as a cashier with Wal-Mart.

Surviving are her sisters, Amanda Bonds and Nannette Bonds of Georgetown, SC; cousin reared as a brother, Trey, Columbia, SC; aunts, Rebecca Keith and Vera Bonds, Georgetown, SC, Ruby King, Roslyn, PA, Joyce White (James), Augusta, GA; an uncle, Johnny Bonds (Pearletha), Georgetown, SC; special friend Harried C. Brown, Jr., Georgetown, SC; godmother Arabella M. Keith, Myrtle Beach, SC; other relatives and friends.
