Mary Herman Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Williams Herman died on November 8, 2018 in Georgetown, SC. Funeral services were held on November 13, 2018 at First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Lorenzo Smalls, Sr., pastor.

Mrs. Herman was born in Rosehill, North Carolina on February 20, 1929 to the marital union between Mr. Jerry Williams and Mrs. Rosie Pigfoot Williams.Her secular education was received in the public schools of Duplin County, NC. She was united in marriage to the late Mr. Issac Brown, Sr. Their union was blessed with the births of fifteen children. In the late 1960's, Mary joined First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and remained faithfully. For over twenty-four years, until retirement, Mary was employed with Georgetown Memorial Hospital's Dietary Department. She later attended Georgetown Senior Citizen Center.

Surviving are her daughters, Maxine Grant, Rosie B. Ross, Susan B. Myers, all of Georgetown, SC, Carolyn Brown, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Diane B. Hall of Washington, DC; her sons, Herbert M. Brown, Washington, DC, Isiah Brown, Georgetown, SC, James Brown, Louis Brown, Richard A. Brown, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-son, Richard "Rick" Brown, Conway, SC; her siblings, Wayne Robert Williams, Clinton, NC, Maxine Williams of Newbury, NY. Funeral services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
