Mary Adragna Obituary

A Celebration of the Vibrant Life of Mary Candace "Candy" Adragna With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Candace "Candy" Adragna, a bright and cherished soul who left this world on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the age of 76, at her residence in Beaufort, South Carolina. Born on December 26, 1948, in the sunny landscape of Los Angeles, California, Candy was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Rescola) Bashor. Her spirit, as radiant as her Southern California roots, would eventually lead her on a journey to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in 1989. There, with her characteristic determination and entrepreneurial spirit, she established Conquest Boats, a testament to her drive and ambition. Candy's heart was as expansive as the waters she loved. She was a dedicated member of the Soroptimist International Club of Havasu, where her passion for empowering women and girls shone brightly. She poured her time and energy into uplifting those facing life's challenges, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Beyond her professional endeavors and volunteer work, Candy embraced life with an infectious zest. She found joy in the freedom of boating, the warmth of hosting gatherings for her cherished friends, and the lively debates about politics that sparked her keen intellect. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her beloved family. Candy's legacy of love and laughter lives on through her daughter, Keri (Robert) Logan; her son, Matthew (Sormeh) Adragna; her adored grandchildren, Chase, Sarah and Darya; and her precious great-grandson, Carter. They will forever hold dear the memories of her vibrant spirit and unwavering love. A Celebration of Candy's remarkable life will be held in the near future in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where her spirit truly took flight. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the warmth of Candy's smile, the strength of her convictions, and the love she shared will continue to ripple outwards, a lasting testament to a life lived with passion and purpose. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
