Marshall Ramsey Obituary

Marshall Edward Ramsey, 91 of Mill Spring, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at AdventHealth Polk Hospital. Visitation for Mr. Ramsey will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Anderson Funeral Home. Graveside Services with Military Honors will follow at the Beaufort National Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM. Marshall was born on October 9, 1933, in Williamston, SC, the son of the late Ralph and Dollie Mae (Barr) Ramsey. Retired US Navy, A member of the Freemasons Overseas Lodge No.40, F.&A.M. As well as the Eastern Star and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed a good cigar as well as a drink of scotch. He loved to fish. Survivors include: his son: Mark E. Ramsey; Sharon Ramsey wife Jamie Harvey Joseph Nettles Christina Nettles and Great Granddaughter Briana Elizabeth Nettles Son Jeffery A. Ramsey Joshua Allen Ramsey Lisa Marie Ramsey wife and 3 Great Grandchildren Briana Lei Ramsey Dylan Reese Ramsey and Derek Reed Ramsey Daughter Tracy A. Miles Son Scottie Eugene Miles Michelle Miles Wife Daughter Cecelia A. Miles and 3 Great Grandchildren Skylar Elise Miles Scottie Eugene Miles Jr and William Anthony Miles one brother Roger Ramsey, Niece Lisa J. Ramsey, and Nephew Ralph J. Ramsey, Jr. He is preceded in death by: Ralph and Dollie Mae (Barr) Ramsey Donna Marie Gladfelter Wife And his Brother Ralph Wanye Ramsey In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or your Local Animal Shelter.
