Lee Jackson Obituary

Lee David Jackson 76, of Burton and husband of Wanda Williams Jackson, died Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. He was born June 2, 1949 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, a son of the late Willie Lee and Hattie Mae Jackson Baccous. He was educated in the public schools of Dillon County, South Carolina. After relocating to Beaufort, SC, he accepted Christ, was baptized and became a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Beaufort, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: James Jackson, Sr. and Timothy Baccous and one sister, Carolyn Ann Vaughn. His memories will forever be cherished by his wife, Wanda Williams Jackson of Rembert, SC; two sons: Jeffery (Donna) Faulk and David Jackson, Jr. of North Carolina; three sisters: Cynthia (Joseph) Josey and Josephine Baccous both of Beaufort, SC and Janice (Roosevelt) Brown of Loris, SC; two granddaughters, three grandsons, one great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Services will be private. The Family is not receiving visitors at the residence at this time. During this time of loss for the Jackson Family, we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they pay homage and celebrate the life of their beloved Lee.
